What is your purpose?
Updated: Jun 22, 2020

We are deeper than we think. Our thoughts and inner voice speaks volume, but for us to listen, the noise from the external world has to be turned down.
Each person has their unique path and purpose. Some might not know what theirs is at the moment, but many times, we are already walking in it without even knowing. This purpose I am meant to carry out is not a destination, but a journey.
Instead of asking " What am I going to do with my life?", I live in my authenticity, I will be aware of my interactions with myself and others, and identify what harms and what strengthens me. I will be intentional with what I like and don't like. I will be aware of my doings.
Sometimes, it is easy lose sight of ourselves when we are caught up on hype and craze we see on social media and other media outlets.
What gets the most the attention are the empty, less fulfilling ideals of life.
It's illusive
It's one-dimensional
It's a facade.
But you and I,
We are deeper than we think
Our thoughts and inner voice speaks volume
but, for us to hear, the noise from the external world has to be turned down.
We are multi-dimensional. The answer is in us.
I challenge you to do this for at least 10 minutes each day (with the hopes the time will extend each time).
Put down your phone.
Turn off the TV.
Turn off the music.
Start listening.
There, you'll find the answer.
With Deepest intention,
Rachael Marks
